Default Computer question

I've tinkered with older engines for a while but now I'm building a LT1 383 stroker for my V6 camaro out of boredom and I'm wondering whats a decent computer set up for the thing? I want to keep it fuel injected and need to figure out a good starting place to learn about computer controls for the engine.

Any ideas?

You can use the normal factory computer and be fine. There is plenty of info on the internet and programming/diagnostic tools you can buy to work with it.

+1 - Stick with the factory comp. Go with the 94 or 95 model from the fbody as they are OBDI and much cheaper for software/programming of them. 93 is chip based and you will need an eprom burner and chips to change anything yourself and 96+ is all OBDII and much more complicated/more expensive software.
