LT1 wont start
Alittle background info i swapped a 94 camaro lt1 into my 85 iroc. got a painless wiring harness for it and i believe i have got everything hooked up correctly. However the engine will turn over, the check engine light comes on, telling me i have power obviously, but i have no spark. i turn the ignition on and can hear the fuel pump run for about 2 seconds then shut off. i checked for power/grounds to my pcm and im getting a solid 12.9 volts at all locations i checked. i checked with a test light at the coil to see if i was getting voltage down the light lit up, i also checked with my my dmm, and it was reading 12.6 volts. i checked with a test light at the ignition module to see if i was getting power to there and i was. im getting power to the opti. and when i plugged my spark tester into the cylinder one plug wire i got nothing, i checked at the coil aswell and still no spark...
so im thinking its maybe got a bad coil or ignition module. im going to borrow one of my friends car for testing purposes.
do you guys have any other thoughts as to what it could be? did i screw something up when i put my cam in with the opti?
thanks again

It seems like it could be coil. If you have access to another coil to check, that would help. If there is still no spark, what steps did you take when you installed the cam and put the opti back on? TDC?
