How to fix rattling stock y pipe on 96 TA?

How to fix rattling stock y pipe on 96 TA? I put some shorties on a few days ago and i had to move the y pipe a little bit. It now sits flush with the support right under where the y pipe begins. It rattles when im stopped and it annoying me. How can i fix this? Would shoving some rubber hoses under the pipe work?

Is it hitting on the little support metal flat panel under there? If it is rattling on that, you can either try and readjust your "Y" to clear or put a couple spacer washers between the metal plate and the body to bring it down about 1/4" and the rattle should go away. I had to space mine away when I went to the cat back I had before the header swap...I then got rid of the thing all together...I'll figure out something else to put back there soon, but in the meantime... But yea, try spacing it away from the car some...the bolts are plenty long.
