Car runs bad New a tune
Check it out for yourself.

I have a 95 LT1 with a Vortech supercharger. I has some stuff done to it that I did but I have no idea about the other stuff because I bought it as is and cant get the history of the car. So I dynoed it today with disappointing results and was told that it needs a tune BAD. I can post the videos of the runs. So here is my question. How do I get my LT1 tuned or where? Also, I don't want to spend to much money. I don't also want to do something with the the "pcmforless" stuff because I have no idea of all the specs or what has been done to the car.

Thats a nice looking car! It didnt sound like you were giving it much gas for the dyno run??? I would start checking all the normal things first like O2's, plugs, wires, coil, etc..

Ya, I know I need it dyno tuned. Problem is I need to find a place that will do it. In the run, they where giving WOT. The powerband stops around 5100 rpms. We changed the plugs, wire and o2s about 2 months ago.

Ok, sounds fair. I understand that most places should be able to dyno tune the LT1 but I have been told to go only to people who know how to tune a LT1. Not to sure if it makes a difference but if I will be spending money, I want to spend it right. I plan on putting an intercooler on the car so would I do that before the tune?

hit up 12secSS (George) He's our tuner here in LA. If you come out to Bob's Big Boy one night, you can meet up with him. He can street tune you to get you going, but he can also rent out a facility if you really need a dyno tune..
He's an engineer at Turbonetics, so he kind aknows what he's talking about....
