95 Trans Am, misfires but not all the time it's like most of the time runs ok has a stutter but ive given up on that because its got 180,000 miles.....
Any ideas about the misfire??? I have a new opti spark I will be replacing this coming weekend and new 02 sensors.... Thanks for any tips or help

With that many miles it could be anything. I would install new plugs (NGK TR55's), new wires (MSD 8.5mm), and a new coil (GM replacement) to go with the new opti (hopefully you bought a AC Delco/Delphi opti). I would also perform the ICM cooling mod.

yeah i would suspect it is the OPTI mine backfired like that then totally went, buy like ss.slp.ls1 said you should replace the plugs, wires, coil, and opti!
