Default lines, hoses, belts etc help!

Ok so the joys of having a dad imput on a car he dont really know about hes strongly recommending i replace every line, hose and belt that is rubber in the car. i understand his reasoning but i dont belive he realizes the amount of hoses and such in the car. any way, to satisfy his interest there a kit for well..EVERYTHING? lol

No.. just replace the belt (with a Gatorback) and you could replace the upper/lower rad hoses as a precaution if you wanted, but from my experience the ones that usually pop are the heater hoses at the end near the front of the car.

With the age of these cars, your dad is right. Preventive maintenance would be to replace them all, if you don't want any surprises on the road.

No kits, you'll have to go to the parts store and ask for them individually. And Dad is right...remember this - the older you get, the smarter he'll get.

true but this is the first car hes ever been a part of rebuilding heh, where as im taking his advice bc it makes sense alot of what he says is far fetched as far as a mild budget build goes.
