Default K-member Swap

I had to take out the LT1 K-member and swap in a LS1 one due to Drive Shaft clearance issues. The LS K-member will move the complete Drivetrain 3/4" forward. I'll have to get my Exhaust re-done after the Engine is in.

Here are some pics..

wow that sucks...but looks cool now..why wouldn't you just have the driveshaft shortened, could you have done it that way instead of swapping frames or not??

If I break a Driveshaft that I have to put $175 into for that work I'd have to get another one and start over. I'm not willing to go through that cause my car has a pretty good probability to snap one.
So far I have $120 into the swap to the LS K-member and if I break the Driveshaft I can just put another stock one in. That and I got rid of a couple of other clearance issues aswell.

I got it without removing them, just unbolted the Shock.

You have to finesse it a little..
