Default anyone know if the rear in a v6 fits...
Is the rearend in a 97 V6 auto camaro the same as the rear in a 94 Z28?

Also are the gears in auto V6s 3.23?



Wasnt sure if the brakes would be the same, and not sure how to know what gears are in it.

not sure but if i remember right V6's had drums in the back. Not really sure about the 97's though

95 and up V6s got rear discs...

Car is actually a 5 speed, what gear came in them?

Not all of them. Well at least 98+ V6s, some had rear disc brakes if they got the performance package.

Gears may be 3.08s and it won't be a posi, unless it was ordered with the performance option.

Have a 97 v6 here. Rear drums. Can be converted pretty easy tho.

my 96 had drums and right tire fire. My buddy had a 98 V6 with the performance package that had a posi and rear disc brakes.
