lt 1 upgrade

can anyone help me out here I am wanting to get some more power out of my LT 1 and I am planning on spending around 4000. Any idea on what to do and what kind of power to look for? I heard crate motors are a good idea.

For that Money you can get an Intake, Heads & Cam package, Headers, Gears, Tune..
