Default VP MS109 Fuel Question

VP MS109 is an unleaded oxygenated racing fuel and I was wondering if it is corrosive if left in the car? Will it ruin the paint if it gets on the car? I have never used it so wondering what to look out for and what preventitive measures to take.

i wouldnt let any fuel sit on the cars surface. its not alcohol so you dont have to worry about leaving it sitting in the fuel system

Thanks. I would wipe it off right away anyways. I was also wondering if you need a separate tune when using MS109 as compared to say 91 octane. Anyone have experience in this area?

Thanks for the reply. I need to put the car back on the dyno anyways to get ready for the Los Angeles Invasion.

do not run oxygenated fuel if you are not tuned for it. Dont leave it in the system.

I dont know what your set up is but you might want to educate yourself on fuels. There are gains to be had but you need to know what your dealing with etc.

I plan on tuning for it. I will have two programs for my ECM. One will be for the VP MS109 and the other for 91 octane. I can pump out the MS109 after I run it. I have never ran it and that is why I'm inquiring about it.
