assume your 383 will be a "internal" balance motor...than yes you can have a stock FW "neutral" balanced. On the stock FW the weight is cast into it so it will need to be ground off and possibly some material removed from other parts of the FW. A good machine shop should be able to do it for about $40...also get it resurfaced. I paid $50 for both on mine.
don't have a pic of back (engine) side but note where the shop put pins in the outer holes to balance it after they ground off the cast weight.
also have your PP neutral balanced to the FW..in the pic you can see where the shop took material out of the PP edge.
