Gear Install kit?
Just wondering about a gear install kit, got a new set coming so I'll need to pick one up. Is this something I should just go pick up at the auto parts store? I see WS6store lists 3 different ones from ratech.

Would it be necessary/beneficial to go with the "deluxe kit" or will one of the cheaper ones suffice?
Also, these are only listed for "98-02" fbody's...Im assuming it doesnt make a difference between the auburn/eaton/LT/LS differentials?
BTW My car has 100k on the clock.
Thanks in advance!

the $78 kit will do you ...
unless your rebuilding the entire rearend..
the $100 kit has axle bearings and seals..
something else you might want to look into is a solid crush sleeve..

check jegs and summit and see what kits they have....
when i have setup rearends in the past, i've always used ratech kits, i always ordered an extra set of carrier shims, and also a solid crush sleeve... i always ordered my kits from a local speed shop..
