I wasn't spewing anything on the ground, so don't see that the pump blew out. the power steering assist went away completely out of nowhere??? Got it home, check fluid, everything fine. belt is ok, not wet... maybe it was just the it's time (original pump after 115k miles).

Any thoughts on what I can test to confirm? should I try drain/refill or just give up on it...

If I need a new one, thinking of trying that turn one pump setup.
