What thread is the side of the block for oil pressure gauge?
I have a mechanical guage in my camaro and i'm using the copper or whatever that is (the autometer line). And i cant get the line to stop leaking oil inside my car and i dont have money to replace the line with AN line and fittings so i just want to un hook the gauge and plug the whole in the block. Was wondering what size thread and pitch it is so i can try to find a cheap plug so i stop leaking oil inside the car.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!!

If its from the fitting on the back of the gauge then it's just a compression fitting. Most hardware stores have them for cheap. like less than a buck. If it's the line it's self you can get a plastic line kit for like 10 bucks. It is hooked up behind the intake. I don'r remember what size though.

Not looking to replace the line right now, gonna go with a -3 or -4 an line so it has no chance of leaking with compression fittings and such.
Thanks Z8! i'll look for some 1/4 npt plug's at the local parts store!
