So I decided to run my car up to the top the other night, its just a stock 94 LT1 auto with a K&N Filter, and made a very disappointing discovery: my governor kicks in and stops me at 108. I've never had to fix this problem before, but I'm sure its an easy fix. How do I get rid of the governor?

A tune or a handheld tuner can do it but usually cost what a good professional tune would.

You can either tune it or go to wrecking yard find a 94 A4 LT1 fbody with Z rated tires and use the PCM. (look at the RPO Code tells you if it was equipped with Z rated tires.)

Fbody's that came with Z rated tires didn't have speed limiter as far as i know.
