First time my baby left me on the side of the ROAD
soo story goes like this, went to get my SFC welded to the car today at the shop, while waiting i left the car running. After he told me he could not do it to day( which i was pissed) i started to leave and the wind started blowing trash under the car. Well not knowing at the time a bag gets caught in my fan and stops running, so im driving on my way back home and took a look at my gauges to see that my temp gauge was almost in the red... i pull over pop the hood and start looking for a bubbling or leak (nothing) and i really could not feel the heat but im hearing a hissing sound from the water pump. Now i squeeze on the big hose to see if coolant is flowing and it is but no fan action. So i look down and i see strings hanging out of my fans (bingo found the problem). now i have to get it tow home to see if i need new fans or hopefully some relays....thought i would share a story for you while im pissed..

So i need help, replaced relays and fans still don't turn on...oh yea if you pull both they still don't turn on)
Things i'm going to try tomorrow ( just let me know what else it could be)
1.test ECT sensor and replace ( i think its the original one still on there)
2. ground fans out and see if they manually turn-on
3. see if thermostat is stuck
4. or my brand new water pump with less the 1k on it quit on me
anything else i should test????

well found out the problem the damn water pump is not cycling fluid (thought it would leak if it was bad but good thing its not) so new waterpump it is.
the ECT sensor was reading low because it was no fluid cycling to give it a good reading so when it started getting hot the fluid was just seating there and going back to the radiator..thought i'll update in case someone else had the same problem

The only time mine has left me stranded was when i was going home from college last year. I made it 30 miles out of my hometown and the fuel pump ate ****! I had to wait for it to cool down (1 hour) to drive it home. I guess i ended up getting lucky, but regardless it sucked *****!
