Default new motor build w/mods...computer question.

How bad is it to run a car wirh mods that has not been tuned??
Motor has an extreme eneregy cam 503/510 lift 224 230 duration.
Dome pistons pretty high compression
Kn cold air intake.
Shorty headers
Hooker muffler
Also have a bottle for it but not sure if I'm sprayin it yet.

Like will it hurt to drive the car at all??

It makes absolutely no sense to spend all that money on a build only to potentially cause serious engine damage without tuning it with at LEAST a mail-order tune.

Dome pistons? High compression? Stock tune? YIKES!

Also will it need bigger injectors or anything else to go with the mods??

Before you drive it anymore, pick up a mail-order tune. You can probably get away with stock injectors, but consult with your tuner, whoever it is. Try www.pcmforless.com.

Ideally you'll need to datalog the car and monitor your duty cycle.

Ok. I don't know much about fuel injection. Especially tuning...but That is one reason why I'm doing this build. Live and learn.
