Default Easiest way to install Electronic Oil Pressure Gauge

Alright guys im looking to install an electronic oil pressure gauge on my 97 formula either in one of my vents or in me pillar pod. I will be using either a Stewart Warner gauge or an Autometer unit (kinda pricey).

My questions are:
Where is the best place to install the electronic sending unit at?
Is there any adapters of some sort required?
Anything to look out for?

Any information is greatly appreciated. I am just trying to get all necessary pieces together to complete the install as smooth as possible.

Thanks
Devin

The sender screws right in the block,in the original oil passage. Id put it where your stock one is, if the sender hits the manifold then just get some adapters to move it towards the firewall some.

i just put the autometer one in my car. My stock one was down by the oil filter but it was a crappy place with headers so i put the new one behind the intake manifold. its working good so far for me. the kit comes with most of the stuff, needed to buy wire and a 90 degree fitting piece.

^^^^ Do you by chance remember the threads on the 90* piece? Did you buy them from hardware store?

i got it from summit racing, it was a 1/8" NPT i believe, one side male one side female. the part where u order the gauge says what the sensor has, for instance my new unit was 1/8th npt, but it also came with a 1/4 npt adapter but i didn't need it.

I think this was the piece i got - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-991401ERL/

and here is the sensor - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-3327/
