What is LE2, is it the v6 that gm had made, or is it something else, im seeing it quite about in the lt1 section and was wondering, what is it and what parts do you use when building an lt1 set up

They are stock LT1 ported cylinder heads by Lloyd Elliot.

thanks chavez for the information, some people just dont get the point of a forum, its to get information, not to be told to google it. if everybody google everything there wouldnt be a point of having a forum, now would there?

I believe you're referring to RPO code L32; this was the 3.4l 160BHP 60* V6 offered from 93-95 in the base model F-Bodies.

Actually test drove a couple L32 cars back in the day; a '93 L32/700r4 (nice and torque-y down low, a dog between 45 and 80MPH- car was well mannered and stable between 105-117MPH through long, flat sweeping curves). Also drove a '94 L32/T5 (well-geared, kind of fun, light on its feet for a heavy car with a V6). You could push the V6 cars harder in tight curves without as much risk of losing the road. F*ck up driving even a stock LT1 car and you can find a tree pretty quick.

Lloyd Elliot Stage 2 stock ported heads is what LE2 stands for. He also has LE1, and LE3 stages of porting.
