Default odd grinding noise when i start?

first off, hey everyone. new formie bird owner here, great site, glad i found it when i did. any way. since its started getting a little chilly here in florida, once i start my car, do some errands and let the car sit for a while. i go to turn it on again and i have this wierd plastic grinding noise coming from the the driver side of the car in the engine bay. only does it for a little bit then stops as i drive. not sure what it could be?

Most likely yes, but you never know. I had a friend and his would stay grinding all the time so he just disconnected it. It could be the air pump or blower motor too. Theres not to many plastic parts that move in the bay.

Only happens when the car first starts and is warming up? Could it be the Air Pump going out?

@dave yes it does exactly that, first starts then goes away during warm up

First thought was the AIR pump. Pull the AIR pump fuse on a cold start and see if it goes away.
