Default Identify Rocker Arms and Push Rods?

I purchased a 95 Z28 that had a blown head gasket. The motor was removed and partially dissassembled when I got it. The guy I bought it from had all the parts in plastic rubbermaid tubs and some boxes. He also had a torn apart 305 Chevy motor sitting with the parts for the Z28. I am putting the motor back together and I have 2 sets of rocker arms and push rods and I am not sure which ones go to the LT1 and which are probably from that 305Chevy. I found somewhere that the pushrod length for a LT1 is 7.2", is that correct? How can I make sure I am using the correct rocker arms. Is there something to identify them with?

depending on the year 305 I would expect the parts to be identical.

Are both sets of rockers self aligning?

I believe they are both self aligning. The 305 was a newer motor with the center bolted valve covers.

I would be willing to bet that they are the same rocker.
