Default Pulling Codes on a 95 Z28

I have a 95 Z28 and I am trying to figure out how to pull its codes when the check engine light is on. I know it has OBD1 but it has an OBD2 connector. How do I pull codes on it?

You use an OBD-I scanner with the correct adapter cable or adapt a 12 pin cable like this. Or you can use diagnostic software, PC and an adapter cable.

Actron CP9145 is used by many 1995 people.

...and probably won't work, since most at that price are just a glorified paper clip that shorts the pins to read the code with the SES light (which won't work past 1993).

Just a note to the above. My OBD-I scanner will not work wired like the photo. So if yours doesn't post a note here and I'll try to help. Mine does not use the ground pin ( pin 9 IIRC) to the scanner. Sounds nuts but it only gets the actual data lead and + voltage.
