Default ARP main stud torque question

i feel stupid but i cant remember(lost the sheet) what the torque spec is for my main studs ARP-234-5501 if anyone knows please let me know! i also am using the arp grease as well which i know makes it lower.

The grease does not make it lower.. It just allows you to achieve the TRUE tq..

screw in studs hand tight only! ,lube threads ,washers and nutz with ultra torque fastener lube, torque caps in recommended original sequence in three steps to 80ft lbs, tighten windage tray nuts to 30ft lbs the estimated height from top of main cap to mounting surface for windage tray on the underside of nut is 1.875"

funny when you read the instructions... there is a different torque rating for diffferent types of lube. ex 10w-30 is different than arp moly lube...

whats weird is my arp main stud kit PN# is arp-134-5502 .....

go 80ftlbs with moly lube.........when i bought mine they said 100ft/lbs but i only went 80 because i was seeing some cap deflection in the roundness of the journal up at 100ft/lbs

Different lubricants have different coefficients of friction, hence the different torque specs.....

Just remember the studs go into the block dry. It's the nut threads (and washers) at the cap that gets the lube. Their new Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant is probably the best thing you can use.
