Default lt4 hot cam kit, Minus the cam

Whats up fellas. I am wondering if there is a website or sponsor that sells the hot cam kit with out the cam. Somebody is giving me a good price on the cam alone, but when I am looking at buying everything else separate the cost ends up being more than the hot cam kit. Any suggestions?

p.s. I am on a tight budget at the moment so thats the reason why im trying to spend a little less. Thanks. Any feedback is welcomed.

Go to the classifieds and piece together the needed valve train. Hotcam kit is ~600$ you can get a full valve train and possibly cam for that in the classifeds. And be alot farther ahead than the kit........I have heard that you can run the HC on stock everything though. Just a lower rpm and less power.

Just get some drop in springs that work with stock hardware.
1.6 Scorpion sa rockers or lt4 rockers or equivalent.
And if your car is lower mileage reuse the stock lifters.
