Ditch the opti and go EFI 24x or not? BIG TIME RACERS CALLING OUT
My break down is a 385 with all forged equipment
ls7 lifters with 5/16" pushrods
24x-25x cam .610 lift 110 lsa
AFR 210 competition ported heads
lt4 ported intake with 58mm t.b
stock fuel system/ rails but with a 255 pump
Lighter weight car, th400 with 4500 stall
3.73 gear and 250 sh0t spray
Do you think I can keep the stock pcm to 7100rpm or should I move up to a ls1 pcm and only bump the rpm to about 7400-7500 rpm with the parts I have listed?
I dont want to change anything at all except for pcm if needed.
Also I know a few other guys on here that have stock pcm and parts LIKE mine and run in the 9s on spray with no issues!
So my stock pcm should be adequate enough.

For most modding the LT1 PCM would be a good solution. It is simple, and it works and the money spent to switch could be used elsewhere. I prefer a different engine management system, but that doesn't mean the LT **** wont work. Especially if more RPMs could be had.
