Default 94 F-Body Transmission in a 97 GMC truck

My uncles trucks tranny is going to the ******* and he was looking at my car and was asking if they interchange I'm not 100% figured id ask you guys


Sooo will it work and what is needed for it to work and such????

No, 95-up has PWM Solenoid.

94 is the transitional year. It may or may not have the pwm solenoid. So It may still work.

Look on the pump and see if it says it.

I'll have to check it once it gets wheels on it again lol

seeing as I sold the rims off the 94 formula but installed the Tranny in my car today and what a breeze so ill deff check the pump for him once its out
