Default For those of you that have been following........i hope its fixed...

After fighting high rpm misfires for amost 7 weeks now I beleive i finally caught the issue. Looks like an emf problem that was causing the ignition to false trigger the xfi. Of course i realized this after new injectors, fuel filters, plugs, wires, coil and dizzy cap and rotor.

Over the weekend I vented my cap and rotor to engine vacuum so i have fresh air being pulled through at all times to keep the air not charged and avoid cross sparking in the cap.....i also re-phased the rotor and cap by drilling a hole in the top of the old cap and lining up the spark with the timing light.......also grounded all unused inputs on the xfi ignition section and also ran a sheilded grounded cable for the crank trigger input. Also re routed all my plug wires and signal wires away from each other. I hope this fixes it........the car ran great with the exhaust on.....drove around great and pulled right to 8000+rpm in all gears with great power with the exhaust on.......also sounded really good with the exhuast off........

Hopfully hitting the track for some long awaited timeslips this weekend if mother nature finally decides to cooperate.....

I think you mean some high 9 second passes.

Glad you got it sorted out! Get that thing into the 9s, the LT1 gods demand it.
