Default Walbro 255 PSI #s?

Just got my walbro 255 pump in with the racetronix hotwire kit and i slapped the fuel pressure gauge on just to be sure everything is working like it should. It was readying 40-45psi at idle and as i cracked the throttle. Should these kits be pumping out more psi then a stock pump?

dont get pressure confused with volume, as long as you still have the stock fuel pressure regulator and can flow enough, it will run the pressure it was set up to from the factory

If you need/want more pressure you will need an aftermarket FPR and a tune to adjust to the increased pressure

Not even a little bit. They are a supporting modification.

Stock pump hose inside actually split causing the pump to overwork itself and eventually crapped out. I had the walbro and hotwire kit purchased knowing that i would have to eventually have to use it. Just curious is all and makes complete sence with why the numbers are the same as what stock should be with a stock fpr. Thanks for the help!
