Doing a 355 rebuild for my 94 corvette and when I picked up the motor from the machine shop they gave me the morosso 22101 oil pump and said it was what they use for higher rpm street strip cars. The pick-up is only a 5/8ths so I would need a part number for a pick-up that I could use with the stock pan and tray because it would need to be the same as the factory one just the smaller diameter. I contacted Morosso but they could only suggest one for use with one of their pans. Is there a pick-up I can use or do I need to switch to a different pump and pick-up. It going on a 355 with 21 deg. heads ported by LE. I think this is just a worked over melling m-55 pump because that's what is casted on the side of it.
