I think he means solid axle as in full rear car with axle tubes and center section, not just center section and halfshafts. I have seen a few newer vettes running fabbed 9 inch rears but havent seen much "bolt in" rear advertising.

There are quite a few out there running Stock Eliminator. They use a torque arm and mostly stock suspension. Nine inch tires.

i dont remember who it was though. he built it in his driveway.lol
