Default Zex nitrous kit yay or nay?

Thinking about getting the zex nitrous kit, the one where you put the jet in the rubber tube before the tb, it has everything needed including wot switch, gauge, bottle, the whole $609 kit on summit, plus jets from 35 to 200. I would run a 75 or 100 shot. Is it worth it? What else would I need to run this safely(ish)? What plugs? I do not want to have to retune. If I could get it for around $350 is it worth it?

The small kits are good for casual nitrous users. But if you're going to be spraying on a regular basis I'd look into a more complete kit.

Probably gains of .6, .9, and .14 respectively couldn't be ruled out.

Looks like people have best luck with the BR7EF plug, people say to pull timing for more than 125 shot, what's the cheapest/easiest way to do this?

If your not spraying a bunch, like on the street, just track outings and whatnot. The TR6 is a fine plug. It would still be hot enough for DD use and give a good idle quality.

I stress to everyone wanting to run nitrous to have a window switch.

I run a zex kit in my vette with a na tune and have had no problems with it.You need at least a window switch I use the eddelbrok digital switch it was cheap and I was able to hook it up rather easily to my msd box. If you are runing with out a box I would go with the zex switch instead. Its smaller, and you can set it up to only spray in specific gears if you want.

Ok sweet thanks, the car is just a track car so I'm not too concerned with street manners, I've been lookingat the MSD window switch and MSD digital 6, hopefully I can find some good prices on them used.

If you are looking at msd stuff look at Mallory boxes. They sell boxes that will do all the same stuff the msd box will plus timing retard and window switch

Run a non-projected tip plug.. BR7EF is a great choice. It is fine to daily drive on despite what people tell you about "colder" plugs. Also, from the zex kits I have seen they come with tiny solenoids.. I would go with a nitrous outlet or harris speedworks kit.
