Default Ls1 airbox conversion

When u change your lt1 to ls1 airbox, do u need to get the slp box or just a factory one that came off of an ls1 car

One of the first mods LS1 owners do is swap in an aftermarket lid in the place of the factory one. I'm sure a factory LS1 lid on an LT1 would be better than CAI made for LT1's (with 2 90* turns), but aftermarket lid (SLP) is highly recommended by LS1 owners.

Yeah you can use either one to do the swap. Matter of preferance on which one you want to use. I think the slp one looks cleaner
