Default engine swap question

I have a 98 camaro with a v-6 in it....I was wondering if we could swap the motor/trans and rearend from a 94 z-28 (350)? Will the whole susp just unbolt motor and all and bolt in to my 98? I'm a newbee at this and any help would be great. We have the whole z28...it was a rollover but its all there for the swap. thanks Kurt

It would "bolt up" but getting the wiring done is a little different, never thought about going backwards but I guess you can. Hopefully no emissions requirement.

I agree with the post above, there are way better options than the lt1, the price of 5.3s,6.0s, are cheap these days, throw a head and cam in one, lil spray, turbo400 with a rear and you will have a fun car. That depends on what your looking for though
