youll prolly loose more mpg from putting ur foot in it more than the cam.

i dont remeber my stock mpg, and i havent been very easy on my car since the build.... but so far with very fun driving i get bout 20-22ish. and thats mostly zipping around in town

Thats exactly right as previous person said... if you drive it nice it can and will likely be actually better on fuel. In the city it will likley suffer but hwy it will be as stock or better. With the added power from the cam the engine doesnt have to work as hard to do the same thing. Im running a similar cam to the 503 with ported heads and ive seen 26-28mpg hwy and city i dont even bother keeping track lol.

No noticeable decrease in fuel mileage here from stock to hotcam to 503. With the 503 and 4.11 gears once I hit the interstate I can cruise at 80 MPH for over 4 hours before I'm starting to look for a gas station. Weird benchmark for sure but I've always noticed mid 20's I guess no matter what combination has been in the car. I know with the 4.11s sixth gear is actually useful.
