The easy way - drag radials and a 125/150 shot

The hard way - Cam + supporting valvetrain and also drag radials. (looking at over 1000$)

Most cam only lt1's will go 12.0-13.0, most in the 12.0-12.5 range, but traction is always the factor. I would do the cam, save up a little more money.

It depends what you want to rev to also. Alot of people dog on the lt4 hotcam, Im one of them. It can be a very good cam, but mentally it screams GO BIGGER. results have shown to be very very good though. Between it and a cc503, its really the driver and launch that will seperate them and show how much better the cc503 is. The cc503 looks better on paper, in your head, and with traction does alot better.

So how much does a cam install cost....I know most shops are different prices but anybody know a ballpark estimate? Also any links to websites for good cam packages that would be very helpful

What all do you have for suspension? I would focus more on that getting it dialed in before you start adding power as whats the point if you cant hook up? Tires would be next on my list after suspension and then you will be ready for cam and so forth and be able to make use of the extra power.
