Default gopro camera video help

I just need some feedback from some of you guys who go to the track and those that street drive with GOPRO cameras. My Gfs job just started carrying gopro cameras and they have the gopro hero and the gopro hero 2 which takes 10 pictures in 1 second. I ask BC I need a camera when I go to the track for the first time. The prices between the 2 are $199 and $299. And I get 20% off.

if your question is which one to buy... go for the hero2. Im getting one for my bike later on. Since your coupon is a percentage, you also save more with the $300 one

Well its an employee discount my Gf gets BC she works there.

Ill go with the hero 2 then. Kinda need it for filming at the track. I'd be too scared to mount that on my yzf 250 how good are those suction cups?

Isn't the waterproof cover supposed to take care of that. I heard your supposed to apply pressure to the camera right before your snap on the back half. But I'm not sure as I don't have one yet. Ill be sure to let you know what works for me.

Quik95LT1

Now you have me sold. I was getting a bit worried about the suction cup, last thing I need on a first pass is me not being able to show you a 12 sec video in slow motion. Just kidding.

Not camera related but figure I'd ask rather then make a new thread, I've never been to the track so I don't know how to launch exactly. Would I have a lot of wheel spin on street tires? Bolt on only and should I be doing 2nd gear burnouts?

lol i dont know what she did, but OP has 20% off. If he buys the $200 one, he saves $40. But if he buys the $300, he saves $60.

Actually I'm sold on the hero 2 I like the 11 Mega pixels and 10shots/second. Pretty neat.

Where can I ask basic track questions? Like launch, gears etc? Do I ask a ? On each section? I figure I take my car and practice, trying to get a feel for this sport rather then just owning a z28.

We have been 155 and it didn't budge. Use windows live for editing.

best 1/4 was a 8.96 run. on that run it had a 1.38 60ft time.
the pass in the bottom clip was a 5.75 1/8th mile with a soft tune up.
it should run 8.7x when we get the front half squared away.

i can vouch the camera's suction mount will not come off up to 140mph.

i have tried both waterproof and the slotted backing plates and still get wind noise. i have also tried putting tape over the mic's. dont know how you guys are so lucky? granted i dont use mine for 1/4 trips, mine is used for corner carving!

pull the camera out then put the case under water and see if any water gets in.
