Default 93 Corvette LT1 -> 94 Z28

I have a 94 Z28 w/140k miles and am in the position to rebuild it. Im stationed kinda far from the vehicle so Im decided to rebuild an LT1 in my garage prior to the getting the car there. Searching found me a 93 Corvette LT1 w/ less than 60k miles on it. Sounds like a good place to start and im digging that 4 bolt main. I just need a bit of advice about buying a lone motor and what i need to look for and second, what kinda parts differences there are to make it work with and fit in a M6 94 Z28. Any advice is appreciated!

It will bolt right in. The only thing you will need to swap is the accessory bracket .

As far as buying a removed engine that sitting in a garage, any advice from anyone? There is no issue with the corvette oil pan being different from the camaro? Thank you for your reassurance.

Engines in garages get pulled apart, run on a stand or no deal. Thats my new rule. I wont buy another one in a garage in "good condition". I have bought 3 that way and the first one the guy ran it on a stand for me with cooling system and gauges when I was 17. I thought at the time it was odd but after the last 2 had spun bearings and the last one had replaced bearings that where the wrong size with the mains left loose so it would spin and was even run dry of oil I will never do a take my word for it again.

Tb and intake ar different from 93 to 94. Just use your setup, harness and ecm and you should be fine.
