PCM question I'm having a pcm sent to me from pcmforless tuned for my mods. I'm wondering if it matters what year the pcm is from? Mine is a 97, can I get away with running a computer from a 94 if its been tuned?
Are these pcm's assigned vin#'s like the new cars are? Like if we put a scanner on it, will it show the vin from the vehicle it came from?

So the vin is stored... my car is a 97 anniversary car, not that its SUPER rare but, should i have PCM for less send me back my original PCM tuned so that it matches the car?
