my dad mentioned this to me today since he is the one helping me with funding my car...he offered to buy a complete SBC engine to put in my car..he saw a complete from oilpan too carb 396 that will run 11,7's for 2K obo...my question is will it bolt up to my T56? and is this hard to swap or any problems with doing this...what are your thoughts? 94 Z28...thought id ask cause u guys know this stuff and i need help

what are pros and cons of this as-well

correction the engine i mentioned is a big block so if u can swap a chevy engine in..does it matter if its big block or small block?

Doing a BB swap into an LT1 f-body is a massive undertaking. There's a reason that the number of BB swaps (that I'm aware of) I can count on one hand.

You could make your car faster for less money and headache by modding your lt1.

Go buy a cheap B-body for that Big Block and make a track car out it.
