Default Spark Plug Gap..

just bought a set of tr55ix NGK spark plugs for my LT1. What i want to know is. Do these babys need to be gapped? or do they already come pregapped, ready for install?

I threw mine in as they came. Cant remember but they were gapped correctly. I want to say .45 or .50.

after checking the 1st hundred NGK plugs in seadoo watercraft & the plugs bein spot on I just install em now lol

thanx guys i kind of figured. they come pregapped at .55 already.

Stock gap is .050", not .055", so there would be no benefit in opening up the gap.

It takes a few seconds per plug to verify/change the gap. ALWAYS check before putting them in.
