Default power steering is squeaking

I can spray it with some silicone spray on the front of the pulley while the car is running to get it to stop for a bit. But I thought the pulley did not have bearings, that it was press fit onto the shaft. If so does this noise mean that the power steering is going to go here soon?

No.... If you spray the pulley surface and it goes away .. Why would it be anything other than the belt??

Well I am spraying the surface of the pulley, the face, near the center where the bolt is. Not the face that the belt touches.

Next time try spraying the belt in a location not near the power steering and see if it goes away. If it does it's the belt.
