Default Which valve springs?

I have a stock motor other than edelbrock shorty headers. I found some crane cams 1.6 rocker arms and I'm wondering which valve springs to get? I looked at the Alex Springs lt1 kit but when it comes to talking about the lift, etc. I have no clue about that stuff. Thanks

This will tell you a lot about valvetrain, springs, cams etc

The Alex springs will work great for a stock to small aftermarket cam. A great improvement over stock springs.

LS6 yellow springs would be good. Seat pressure's around 90lbs (550 max lift)....close to perfect! I do have a set of beehive 80lbs springs for ya that will work great, though, I'd have to see if I still have them...hehehe Dont forget about the retainers too, which are NOT the same as the LS versions so. I forgot the part number for them...

If you want to use stock hardware the PAC-1212x is a drop in spring good for .550 lift.
