backfires after using MCCC
Hey guys,
I decided to use some Mopar combustion chamber cleaner today on my car for the first time (119k miles) to try and clean it up and make the idle smoother. Well I sprayed it in directly through the TB, let it sit for bout 2.5 hours, then took it out, got it to operating temperature (driving only going to 1.5-2k rpm), and once it was warmed up, took it for some spirited driving. Well anything after about 2.5 or 3k rpm, there are some pretty bad backfires especially at around 4.5k rpm. Could the MCCC have fouled some spark plugs or something? Anybody have any experience with this? I was driving for about 20 minutes so I figured all the MCCC would have burned out but the backfires were still there. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
