New Track Times
I went to the track this last friday and I got some new numbers for the Corvette. I ran a 12.4@113.5. That's with 245(which are too small) and the original 3.07 gears. I'll bet with some wider tires and some 3.73's or 4.11 's she could break the 11's. I'm happy with the times, not too bad for a car with shitty gears.(I'm hitting 4th gear probably 50 feet from the line) haha Bogs bad off the line, I just need to fix that now and we'll be good! I was cutting 2.0 60's all day, got a 1.9 60' on my best run. Best MPH was 115. Mods are below.
LTx swap, "LE1.5" heads(Bought off a member at CamaroZ28, they supposedly flow in between LE1 and LE2 heads.), LE Custom Cam, LT's, 52mm TB, 30lb Injectors, MadZ28 Tune, T-56 swap, 3,07 POSI.
What do you guys think? Last year I ran a 12.9@111MPH with the stock headed, cc503, stock TB, mild bolt ons setup.

Here's a vid of the run. When I dropped the clutch the car started off quickly then the tires spun a little then she took off.
Don't forget to watch in 1080p!! haha

Get some drag radials and 4.10 gears and you MIGHT just be able to crack those 11's

I see no problem with 245/50/16s in a DR.....especially in a Vette
The addition of 4.10s would make a big difference, in the 5-7 tenths range... That cam is 100% capable of achieving SOLID 11 sec 1/4 mile times especially in a Vette.. great job..... What cold air do you have on there? I ask because a nice filter set up can be fabricated behind the license plate

Sounds like you're short shifting to me, leaving lots on the table. With your old 503 cam 12.0x's is the norm for that cam only. I would try 64-6500 shifts and see what happens.

I got this with the heads.
All Flow #'s are at 28" H2O on the same flow bench, operated by the same person.
-- Flow: --
Lift: Int/Exh:
.200 = 134/104
.300 = 190/144
.400 = 235/172
.500 = 257/191
.550 = 265/195
.600 = 265/200

The car doesn't seem to like to run out much past 6k. If I run her farther she seems to die off... Not sure why though.. The cam makes power to 6500 or something Lloyd told me. Any idea why I'm loosing power early? I have a full 3" exhaust, full length headers, magnaflow 3" mufflers, X pipe. Could it be the intake?
