Default KG3 Alternator on LT1?

Hey, everywhere I've read talking about swapping the stock 105 amp alternator for a truck 145 amp KG3 alternator never specified what they were working with, and the pics look odd to me for some reason. I just want to make sure it's possible to do the swap before I get one, I'm working with a 95 Trans Am. Just make sure it's a 145-amp 4-wire KG3? I'm planning on upgrading the big 3 as well, probably gonna make my own wires, although the Innovative Wiring kit looks nice.

The stock alternator is a CS 144 on a Z (either 124A for 93 and early 94 and 140A for anything later). The V6 had a CS 130, 105A alternator. So, I don't see much point in swapping for 5 amps (and probably won't mate up to the accessory bracket).

I'm pretty sure that most everyone who does the swap to a truck alternator has an LS1.

That sounds more plausible.

I'll upgrade the wiring and see if that helps any, thanks for clearing up that it was only LS1, I didn't realize the alternator was in a completely different place.
