Default ls1 on lt1 tubular k ?

got my car for sale if iti dont i'm goin to part out my lt and go ls... just have some Q's .. i did a search cant find anything . so will a ls1 bolt to a lt tubular k_member.. and what would i have to do to keep my auto trans it a performabuilt .. i know it will bolt up but is there anything specific .. thanks in advance for the help..

hahahah i had just been comparing mounting holes on the blocks from pics and thaught they where a close match lol

If you really want, I could swap you my Spohn K member that doesn't have any engine mounts.. Go with a motor plate, every street car should have one....

You can get your LT1 auto to work with the LS very cheaply/easily. You need to read the conversion sticky (at least I think it's still a sticky?) You can make your tubular k-member work with some mount adapters, but it'd be better for you to sell it and buy an LS1 k-member. Everything will line up better that way. You also need an LS1 rack and steering shaft to clear the headers.

Oh....just remembered....some companies use the same tubular k for both engines only they sell the mounts seperately. I'm pretty sure PA racing and RaceCraft. I could be absolutely wrong so do your research.

Yeah the older 4l60 will go behind the ls engine. One bolt hole wont be used and and if im correct a flywheel spacer is needed. Or run a 6.0 truck flywheel which has a flat face instead of a dished seems they come with a 4l80 from the factory.
