I haven't replaced mine yet, but when I do I will go with Bilsteins as they are basically known as the best in the market. Granted, some of the drag guys may recommend differently.

For a drag/weekend car I would actually suggest (believe it or not) good condition stock shocks. They're actually not bad for what you're looking to do.

Unless you wanna spend a ton on Koni shocks, Bilsteins are pretty damn good. I use them on everything.

I just installed the SLP bilsteins on my Z a couple weeks ago and HOLY ****. So worth my time. The stock decarbons felt like I was driving a ford tarus on the curvy entrance ramps. The Bilsteins got rid of almost all the body roll. I seriously love them, cars not as bad over bumps either. Got em at summit for 400 bucks I think (had them price match strano but they compensated for shipping... no offense to strano but I wanted them right then and there and not wait for shipping...) Overall, great shock for the money. I think its sweet that they say "test proven at Nurenburg Nordschleife" right on the shock.

Okay i was looking throught the heavy duty billsteins and tge slp bilsteins the slp ones atty that they are made for daily driver or road course racing. Do you think they would be good for drag racing to? Or the heavy duty would be better for drag racing?
