Default Engine swap, does nothing when i turn the key

95 z28 just swapped motors and nothing happens when i turn the key. dash lights come on as normal but i don't here the fuel pump and starter is quiet as a mouse, not even a click. I sent the pcm to pcm4less and it should have vats removed but i haven't done anything to the car itself to remove vats. Ive checked all the fuses and im kinda stumped. looking for suggestions.

The power being cut when you try to start seems like a VATS issue to me.Pretty sure that purple connector goes to the ABS module, I just looked in my car. Mine is removed so I think thats what its too.

MAF already plugged in. Not part of the engine harness itself it comes from that large group of wires on the driver side frame rail area.

That connector looks like the AIR pump. Hard to tell, but your car is manual, right? Could be a bad clutch start switch.

Could be the AIR pump also haha, mine is also removed so I just have connectors laying around.

Go point on the clutch switch. When you depress the clutch one of the wires on the switch should see 12v.

Simple. Unplug it (flat black switch mounted under clutch pedal) and short the 2 pins with a short section of wire or something. That will bypass the switch. If it starts, bad switch.

Check all your grounds?

Hard to tell from the video but I don't think I hear the starter trying to engage either? Double check that as well?

Also agree with the AIR pump connection, just went and checked on mine, and its the same

Your battery gauge reads below 8. Does it work? Could just be a really dead battery. See if your headlights are really dim. Put a multimeter on the battery posts too, check the voltage.

that's right no sound from starter or fuel pump. i will double check grounds on the driver side rail near the air filter and starter area that's all there are right?

I'm not sure on # of grounds, someone else will have to jump in to be sure.

Also, all fuses are good?

If it were my car I would be trying to figuring out why the starter isnt trying to engage and go from there.
