Question on valve springs
Doing a mild rebuild on motor for my 94 camaro. Want to replace valvesprings as I'm going to go with a higher lift cam (probably not much over .500). Other than this though motor will be mostly stock, will not be making huge power and will not be being spun above 6000 rpm.
My question is, can I use generic valve springs from a gen I sbc (other than the valve seals possibly not fitting), such as these?

Or is it not worth the price saving over something like the Alex parts springs:

I know you get what you pay for, I'm just looking for something that can handle the extra lift on a budget.
Any input much appreciated. Thanks guys.

I probably will end up running the Alex springs though.
