Opening it by hand while it's already on the engine.
I think everything's cool with the tune, just wondering if the blades being slightly tilted like that will affect performance at all? I figure even if it did it would be like 1-2 hp at most. Solid roller 355 for what it's worth. I've heard people talking about this problem with the Holley and wondered if it mattered in the grand scheme of things.

Yes it will most likely cause a problem. It will throw a TPS error first time you go to WOT and send the trans into limp mode. Mine shifted from 1st to 3rd first time I ran the Holley TB at the strip. Assuming it's on an OBD1 car, the quick fix is to turn off Error 21 (TPS sensor high) in the ECM Switch table. The correct fix is to bend the stop to prevent the blades from going past 90 degrees.
